The first golfing major of the year takes place from 9 April at the stunning Augusta National Golf Club.
The exclusive green jacket will be in the sight of a number of the top golfers as they attempt to win one of the greatest majors on the golfing calendar.
This year’s Masters field is perhaps the strongest it has ever been with a number of players who have a real chance to claim the title. Below we highlight some of the betting favourites and their betting odds for the 2016 Masters.
1. Jordan Spieth
The world number one is also the defending champ and hopes to become the first player since Tiger Woods in 2002 to defend his title at the Masters. In 2015 Spieth matched Tiger Woods’s tournament record of 18 under to win the green jacket. His current form is superb and he started off the year with a win at the Hyundia Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, Hawaii.

2. Charl Schwartzel
The South African won the Masters tournament in 2011 and has been in some terrific form lately with an 8 shot victory at the Tshwane Open in February and then backed that up with a win at the Valspar Championship in March. This was only his second PGA title win of his career.

3. Rory McIIroy
The former world number one has a string major victories and only needs the green jacket to complete a career grand slam. In 2011 he blew a four shot lead heading into the final round of Augusta, however he has matured immensely since then and in 2015 he finished in 4th place in the tournament.

4. Bubba Watson
Bubba Watson is in peak form and recently won the 2016 Northern Trust Open with a one shot victory over Dustin Johnson. In 2015 he had 10 top 10 finishes in the PGA Tour in just 19 events. The big hitting left hander is a two time winner at the Masters.

5. Louis Oosthuizen
Another South African who is in great form. Louis Oosthuizen is no stranger to major titles having won the 2010 British Open. He also finished as runner up in 2015 in both the U.S and British Opens and lost the playoff to Bubba Watson at Augusta in 2012. Louis recently won the Perth International in Australia.
